In 2016 rookie drafts, RB C.J. Prosise had an ADP of 1.12 , according to MFL.com. Since most of my rookie drafts occur within a month of the NFL draft, I was a bit skeptical of such a high ranking. But after seeing Prosise in action during Weeks 10 & 11 of last season, I was sold. Granted that was a very small sample size, but at 6’1″, 220 pounds with a 4.4 forty, the former WR flashed enough to pique my interest.
So out went the offers. I was able to acquire Prosise last Novermber in exchange for…
Dion Lewis/Thomas Rawls/Breshad Perriman
Then over the last week or so, I was able to acquire him in two leagues at the following cost…
League 1: Rookie picks 2.09 & 2.12
League 2: Chris Hogan & Adam Thielen
While it’s possible that Prosise’s value could go lower, I wouldn’t risk it. There’s no way that a healthy Prosise does not have a major role in the Seattle offense. He brings a dimension of speed and pass-catching ability that Lacy and Rawls simply do not have.
Now is the time to make your move to acquire Prosise as he should shine in camp forcing his price steadily higher as we approach the season.
